Our take: A genuinely free travel card with lounge access and a real welcome bonus — the everyday earn rate is the trade-off.

Heads up: Retail spend earns just 0.5 miles per ⃃ 1, and groceries, fuel, utilities and EU/UK spend earn 10–25% of that; the 6x rate applies only on the Voyager Travel Portal.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

Free-for-life travel cards with real lounge access are rare in the UAE, and that is the Voyager World's whole pitch: no fee, Mastercard Travel Pass lounges, UAE and select international airport transfers, a OneVasco visa service and a 75,000-mile welcome bonus, at an approachable ⃃ 12,000 salary requirement.

What to watch

Treat it as a travel companion, not a daily driver. At 0.5 miles per ⃃ on retail — and a fraction of that on groceries, fuel and utilities — everyday spend builds miles slowly, and the 3.69% monthly interest rate is among the highest in ENBD's lineup. Book travel on it, pay it in full, and pair it with a cashback card for the daily basket.

Pros

  • No annual fee, ever — rare for a travel card with lounge access
  • 75,000 Voyager Miles welcome bonus on ⃃ 35,000 spend
  • 6 miles per ⃃ 1 on the Voyager portal, 3 on other travel bookings
  • Complimentary lounge access via Mastercard Travel Pass
  • Airport transfers in the UAE and at select international destinations

Cons

  • Weak everyday earning — just 0.5 miles per ⃃ 1 on retail
  • Groceries, fuel, utilities and EU/UK spend earn only 10–25% of the already-low base rate
  • High 3.69% monthly interest rate (44.28% p.a.)
  • 1.99% foreign-transaction fee plus a ~1.15% network fee on non-⃃ spend
  • Best earn rates require booking through the bank's Voyager Travel Portal

Our take: One free Marriott night a year on a no-fee card is a self-recommending deal for anyone who sleeps in Marriott hotels — just don't expect much from its everyday earn rates.

Heads up: The page says free for life, but ENBD's current price guide and KFS list ⃃ 315/year — verify at renewal. Everyday spend earns just 1.5 points per US$1, and the Free Night Award expires after 12 months and caps at 35,000-point hotels.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The value proposition is unusually easy to audit: a Free Night Award worth up to 35,000 points every anniversary — that's a genuine ⃃ 700–1,000 hotel night at properties like Le Méridien or Courtyard — plus automatic Silver Elite, 10 Elite Night Credits and lounge access, on a card the bank advertises as free for life. Stay in a Marriott-family hotel even twice a year and the card pays for itself before you count a single point.

What to watch

As a spending card it is mediocre: 1.5 points per US$1 on daily retail is roughly 0.4 points per ⃃, and the penalty categories earn a fraction of that. The honest play is to hold it for the night award, the status and the 3x rate at Marriott properties, and put everyday spend on a stronger earner. One caveat worth repeating: ENBD's own fee documents currently list ⃃ 315 a year against the page's free-for-life claim — check what you're signed up for at renewal.

Pros

  • A yearly Free Night Award worth up to 35,000 points on a card advertised as free for life
  • Welcome Free Night Award on US$6,000 spend in the first 3 statements
  • Automatic Silver Elite status plus 10 Elite Night Credits every calendar year
  • 3 points per US$1 at Marriott hotels stacks on top of the stay points Bonvoy already pays
  • Free Night value can be topped up with up to 15,000 points for pricier hotels
  • Accessible ⃃ 12,000 minimum salary

Cons

  • Weak everyday earn — 1.5 points per US$1 (≈0.4 per ⃃) on general spend
  • Groceries, fuel, utilities and bill payments earn just 0.15–0.375 points per US$1
  • The bank's price guide and KFS list a ⃃ 315 annual fee despite the page's free-for-life claim
  • 3.69% monthly interest (44.28% p.a.) per the price guide — the page says 3.25%
  • Gold Elite fast track needs a hefty US$40,000 annual spend
  • Free Night Awards expire after 12 months and cap at 35,000-point properties

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The SHARE Visa Signature is the best-balanced card in the SHARE family: 6% back at Mall of the Emirates, every City Centre mall and Carrefour, instant redemption at 5,000+ stores, lounge access and a 5,000-point welcome bonus — on a card that is free for life. For a Carrefour-and-City-Centre household earning ⃃ 12,000+, the effective return on that spend is hard to beat at zero cost.

What to watch

Its weaknesses are the family's usual ones: 1% on everything else, punitive 0.25%/0.10% buckets on non-SHARE groceries, fuel and bills, and a steep 3.69% monthly interest rate. Treat it as a dedicated MAF spending card paid in full each month and it earns its keep; as an only card for everything, a general cashback card will serve you better.

Pros

  • 6% back at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre malls and Carrefour with zero annual fee
  • Points redeem instantly at 5,000+ stores — 10 points = ⃃ 1, no transfer step
  • 5,000-point welcome bonus (⃃ 500) on ⃃ 25,000 spend in 3 months
  • Lounge access, concierge and VOX buy-1-get-1 are rare on a free card
  • Accessible ⃃ 12,000 salary requirement

Cons

  • Earning collapses outside SHARE: 0.25% at non-SHARE supermarkets and 0.10% on fuel, government and utilities
  • High 3.69% monthly interest (44.28% p.a.) if you carry a balance
  • 1.99% foreign transaction fee plus roughly 1.15% Visa processing on top
  • Rewards are locked to the Majid Al Futtaim ecosystem — no airline or cash conversion
  • 1% base rate on general spend is unremarkable

Yajool Editor’s Rating ?Card Rating is based on the opinion of Yajool’s editors and is not influenced by the card issuer.3.8 / 5Go to review

Our take: The most interesting free card in ENBD's lineup — you pick 6 perks from 12, including 900+ lounge access, a roaming eSIM and a SupperClub membership — at an ⃃ 12,000 salary bar where such perks are rare.

Heads up: The perks are a pick list, not a bundle — you get 6 of 12 — the fee waiver is a current offer (standard fee ⃃ 735), and interest runs at 3.69% per month per the price guide.

On this card golf is one of the 4 lifestyle perks — you choose 2.
  • Cinema: VOX discounts — selectable perkDiscounts on VOX THEATRE and 4DX movie experiences — one of the 3 entertainment treats (choose 1, alongside Anghami 6-month and STARZPLAY 3-month subscriptions).

  • Foreign fees: 1.99%
  • Concierge — selectable perkComplimentary concierge assistance for all your needs — one of the 4 lifestyle perks (choose 2).

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The Visa Flexi's pitch is genuinely novel for the UAE: instead of a fixed perk sheet, you build your own — 3 travel benefits from a list of 5 (900+ lounge access, Global Blue, airport transfers, flight-delay lounges, a 3GB roaming eSIM), 2 lifestyle perks from 4 (Careem discounts, golf, a 12-month SupperClub dining membership, concierge) and 1 entertainment treat from 3 (Anghami, STARZPLAY, VOX discounts). Getting lounge access and an eSIM on a fee-free card at an ⃃ 12,000 salary is a combination almost nothing else in the market offers.

What to watch

The core card underneath is ordinary: 1.5 Plus Points per ⃃ 100 with ENBD's 0.4%/0.2% penalty buckets, no welcome bonus, and a steep 3.69% monthly rate if you ever revolve. Quotas on the perks aren't published, so temper expectations. As a second card for perks — or a first card for a young traveller — it's an easy recommendation while the fee waiver lasts.

Pros

  • No joining or annual fees under the current offer
  • You assemble the perks yourself — 3 of 5 travel, 2 of 4 lifestyle, 1 of 3 entertainment
  • Lounge access to 900+ airport lounges is available on a card with a ⃃ 12,000 salary bar
  • Practical travel picks like a free 3GB roaming eSIM, airport transfers and Global Blue tax-refund perks
  • Purchase protection and extended warranty included

Cons

  • 3.69% monthly interest per the bank's price guide — expensive if you carry a balance
  • Ordinary earn rates: 1.5 points per ⃃ 100 with 0.4% and 0.2% penalty buckets on essentials
  • The no-fee deal is a current offer; the price guide lists a standard ⃃ 735 annual fee
  • Benefit quotas (lounge visits, transfer counts, Careem discount amounts) are not published

Our take: A free-for-life entry into SHARE rewards — 4% back at MAF malls and Carrefour from an ⃃ 5,000 salary, though the perks stop at cinema tickets.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The SHARE Visa Platinum is the no-cost door into Majid Al Futtaim's rewards ecosystem: 4% back at Mall of the Emirates, every City Centre mall and Carrefour, redeemable on the spot at 5,000+ stores, from an ⃃ 5,000 salary and with no fee ever. For a Carrefour household that wants something back on groceries without managing a fee, that is a solid, simple deal — plus VOX buy-1-get-1 as a bonus.

What to watch

Know what you are not getting: no welcome bonus, no lounge access, 0.75% on general spend, and near-zero earning on fuel, bills and non-SHARE supermarkets. If your salary clears ⃃ 12,000, the free SHARE Signature is strictly better — 6% instead of 4%, plus the bonus and lounge access.

Pros

  • 4% back at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre malls and Carrefour with zero annual fee
  • Points redeem instantly at 5,000+ stores — 10 points = ⃃ 1, no transfer step
  • VOX Cinemas buy-1-get-1 on a free card
  • Low ⃃ 5,000 salary requirement makes it a genuine first card
  • 0% instalment plans over 3 to 24 months at participating merchants

Cons

  • No welcome bonus, lounge access or concierge — those start at the Signature tier
  • Earning collapses outside SHARE: 0.19% at non-SHARE supermarkets and 0.075% on fuel, government and utilities
  • High 3.69% monthly interest (44.28% p.a.) if you carry a balance

  • Concierge + 24/7 roadside assistanceConcierge desk plus 24/7 roadside assistance, listed among the card's Emirates NBD advantages.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

If your food, groceries-on-demand and online shopping already run through noon's apps, this card pays you unusually well for it: 20% back on noon Food, 10% on NowNow and 5% everywhere else in the noon universe, with a free noon One membership, a 15% noon Minutes discount and an ⃃ 500 welcome bonus — all on a card that costs nothing and needs only an ⃃ 5,000 salary.

What to watch

Outside the noon ecosystem it is a weak card: 1% base earn, 0.30% on groceries, utilities and most household categories, no lounge or travel perks, and credits that can only ever be spent on noon. The 2,000-credit cycle cap also means heavy noon Food spenders hit the ceiling at around ⃃ 10,000 of orders a month. Keep it as the noon card in your wallet, pair it with a cashback or travel card for everything else, and never carry a balance at 3.69% a month.

Pros

  • No annual fee, ever, at an accessible ⃃ 5,000 salary
  • 20% back on noon Food, 10% on NowNow and 5% across noon, noon Minutes, Namshi and supermall
  • ⃃ 500 cashback welcome bonus on ⃃ 5,000 spend in the first two months
  • Free noon One membership for a year (then 50% off) plus 15% off noon Minutes orders
  • Card issued instantly on approval, and noon credits land automatically in your noon account

Cons

  • Earning capped at 2,000 noon credits per billing cycle
  • Credits are only spendable on noon platforms — not cash in your pocket
  • Weak 1% base rate, cut to 0.30% on groceries, utilities, education, telecom and other penalty categories

Heads up: The 5% is Emaar merchants only. Groceries and supermarkets earn 0.25% and fuel, government and telecom just 0.1% — and the KFS puts interest at 3.69% per month, not the 3.49% still shown on the page.

  • Kids’ play: Up to 30% off Emaar EntertainmentUp to 30% off at Emaar Entertainment Group attractions, including Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, KidZania and Dubai Ice Rink.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

As a free-for-life card with a ⃃ 5,000 salary bar, the U by Emaar Family is one of the easiest ways into a UAE mall ecosystem: 5% back at Emaar malls, hotels and restaurants, buy-one-get-one Reel Cinemas tickets, up to 30% off KidZania-class attractions and 10% off hotel dining and spas — all at zero cost, with U by Emaar Silver status thrown in. For a family that visits Dubai Mall a few times a month, that is real money back for nothing.

What to watch

Its weaknesses are exactly where family budgets live: groceries and supermarkets earn 0.25%, and fuel, government services and telecom just 0.1% — among the harshest penalty buckets in the market. Keep it as the dedicated Emaar card in your wallet, put the household essentials on a proper cashback or grocery card, and never revolve a balance at its 3.69% monthly rate. Used that way, it costs nothing and quietly pays for the family's cinema nights.

Pros

  • Free for life — no joining fee, no annual fee, ever
  • 5% back at Emaar malls, hotels and restaurants is strong for a no-fee card
  • ⃃ 5,000 salary requirement opens the Emaar ecosystem to most earners
  • Reel Cinemas BOGO, 30% off Emaar attractions and 10% off hotel dining and spas at zero cost
  • Points redeem instantly at the till at 1,500+ Emaar stores

Cons

  • Punitive penalty buckets: 0.25% at groceries and supermarkets, 0.1% on fuel, government and telecom
  • 3.69% monthly interest (44.28% p.a.) per the KFS — the page's 3.49% is outdated
  • Rewards are locked to Emaar — Upoints have no cash value and no airline or cash conversion
  • No lounge access, no welcome bonus and a 100,000-Upoint annual earning cap
  • 1% base earn outside Emaar is ordinary

Our take: A perfectly reasonable free card whose real product is the Bon Appétit dining discount — up to 30% at 2,000+ restaurants — because the Plus Points earn rates won't move the needle.

Heads up: The rewards are thin: 1.5 points per ⃃ 100 with 0.4% at supermarkets and 0.2% on fuel and bills, there's no lounge access, and the fee waiver is a current offer, not a promise.

  • LiveWell: up to 50% off health & fitnessUp to 50% discount on health and fitness through the LiveWell programme.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The Visa Platinum is ENBD's everyday free card, and its honest pitch is lifestyle discounts rather than rewards: up to 30% off at more than 2,000 restaurants through Bon Appétit and up to 50% off health and fitness via LiveWell. For a card with no annual fee under the current offer and a ⃃ 12,000 salary bar, that dining programme alone can be worth hundreds of ⃃ a year to someone who eats out weekly.

What to watch

Treat the Plus Points as a rounding error — 1.5 per ⃃ 100 on retail with 0.4%/0.2% penalty buckets on essentials — and note there's no lounge access or welcome bonus. If you'll carry a balance, the 3.69% monthly rate in the price guide is a reason to look elsewhere; if you pay in full and love restaurants, this is a sensible zero-cost keeper.

Pros

  • No annual fee under the bank's current offer
  • Bon Appétit dining discounts — up to 30% at over 2,000 UAE restaurants — on a free card
  • Up to 50% off health and fitness via LiveWell
  • Purchase protection and extended warranty included
  • Accessible ⃃ 12,000 salary requirement

Cons

  • Weak earn rate: 1.5 Plus Points per ⃃ 100, with 0.4% at supermarkets and 0.2% on fuel, utilities, real estate and education
  • No airport lounge access
  • No welcome bonus
  • 3.69% monthly interest per the bank's price guide — among the higher rates in the market

Our take: A quirky two-card package with a genuinely strong 5% rate on essentials — if you live in Abu Dhabi, clear the ⃃ 5,000 monthly bar, and respect the 500-point cap.

Heads up: Abu Dhabi residents only. The 5% rate needs ⃃ 5,000+ per statement (otherwise 1.5%) and earning is capped at 500 Plus Points per statement; airport transfers and valet parking were discontinued in April 2025.

  • Online shopping: Mastercard and Emirates NBD offersMastercard partner privileges including complimentary Costa food and drink and Booking.com discounts, plus Emirates NBD extras like auto Salik top-up and utility bill payments.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

Duo is Emirates NBD's oddball: one application, two physical cards — a Diners Club and a Mastercard — sharing one package, sold only to Abu Dhabi residents. The Diners badge brings worldwide lounge access and complimentary UAE golf; the Mastercard brings everyday acceptance, purchase protection and partner offers. The headline is the earn rate: 5% Plus Points on groceries, electronics, utilities, education and fuel is among the highest essential-category rates at the bank.

What to watch

The fine print does a lot of work, though. You need ⃃ 5,000 of statement spend to unlock the 5% (1.5% otherwise), the 500-point statement cap means roughly ⃃ 10,000 of category spend is all that earns, everything else pays just 0.5%, and the once-bundled airport transfers and valet parking are gone as of April 2025. For an Abu Dhabi family whose essentials fit that window, it's a strong, currently fee-free package; outside it, the maths thins out fast.

Pros

  • Two cards on one account — use Diners Club or Mastercard wherever each is accepted, and stack both networks' offers
  • 5% Plus Points on groceries, electronics, utilities, education and fuel — a genuinely high rate on essentials
  • Worldwide premium lounge access plus complimentary golf at top UAE courses
  • Buy-1-get-1 movie tickets at Cine Royals and a concierge desk
  • No annual fee under the bank's current offer

Cons

  • Exclusive to Abu Dhabi residents
  • The 5% rate needs ⃃ 5,000+ statement spend (else 1.5%) and is capped at 500 Plus Points per statement — the cap lands at roughly ⃃ 10,000 of category spend
  • Everything else earns just 0.5%, including travel, dining, hotels and online
  • Diners Club acceptance is limited, so the Mastercard will do most of the work
  • Airport transfers and valet parking were discontinued from 5 April 2025, and the KFS still lists a ⃃ 840 joining/renewal fee

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The Mastercard Platinum is Emirates NBD's core lifestyle card, and under the current offer it costs nothing a year while still bundling real perks: 900+ lounges via Mastercard Travel Pass, up to 30% off at 2,000+ Bon Appétit restaurants and golf discounts worldwide. For an ⃃ 12,000 salary, that is a solid free package.

What to watch

Just don't pick it for the rewards. 'Up to' 1.5 Plus Points per ⃃ 100 with an unpublished statement cap — and 0.2–0.4% on essentials like groceries, fuel and utilities — earns very little, and the 3.69% monthly interest rate punishes carried balances. Enjoy the perks, pay in full, and put heavy spending on a stronger earner.

Pros

  • No annual fee under the bank's current offer
  • Complimentary access to 900+ airport lounges via Mastercard Travel Pass — rare at this level
  • Bon Appétit dining discounts of up to 30% at over 2,000 restaurants
  • Up to 40% off at 100+ golf courses worldwide
  • 0% instalment plans over 3–24 months at participating merchants

Cons

  • Retail earn is 'up to' 1.5 Plus Points per ⃃ 100, with an unpublished per-statement earning cap
  • Supermarkets, groceries, insurance and car dealerships earn just 0.4%; fuel, utilities, real estate and education only 0.2%

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The Darna Select is the no-risk way into Aldar's rewards world: permanently free, open from ⃃ 5,000 salary, and still paying 6.25% back as instantly-spendable Darna Points across Yas Mall, the Yas Island parks and Aldar hotels. For an Abu Dhabi household that shops Aldar even occasionally, there is no downside to holding it.

What to watch

Its limits are equally clear. At 0.75% outside Aldar it is a poor primary card, and it carries none of the range's lifestyle extras — no lounge, no golf, no valet, no welcome bonus. Pair it with a stronger everyday card, and reach for the Select only when you're on Aldar ground.

Pros

  • Free for life — no joining fee, no annual fee, confirmed in the bank's KFS
  • 6.25% value back at 1,200+ Aldar destinations is exceptional for a no-fee card
  • Points spend like cash at the till — 10 points = ⃃ 1
  • Low ⃃ 5,000 salary requirement opens Darna rewards to most earners
  • 0% instalment plans at no cost on Aldar Education & Property

Cons

  • Just 0.75% back outside Aldar destinations — weak for everyday spending
  • No airport lounge access and no welcome bonus
  • No golf, valet or concierge perks — those sit on the Signature and Infinite
  • High 3.69% monthly interest rate if you carry a balance

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The Mastercard Titanium is Emirates NBD's entry point: an ⃃ 5,000 salary requirement, no joining or annual fees under the current offer, and a modest perk set built around Bon Appétit dining and Mastercard partner offers like Booking.com, Zee5 and Lingokids. As a free first card from a major bank, it does the job.

What to watch

Keep expectations low on rewards and travel. 'Up to' 1 Plus Point per ⃃ 100 — capped per statement, and far less on essentials — earns little, and the lounge line on the page really means a Flight Delay Pass, not everyday lounge access. If your salary reaches ⃃ 12,000, the Mastercard Platinum adds real lounge access for the same ⃃ 0.

Pros

  • No joining or annual fees under the bank's current offer
  • Accessible ⃃ 5,000 minimum salary
  • Bon Appétit dining programme and Mastercard partner offers (Booking.com, Zee5, Lingokids)
  • Free lounge access via Flight Delay Pass when your flight is delayed
  • 0% instalment plans over 3–24 months and auto Salik top-up

Cons

  • Weak earning — 'up to' 1 Plus Point per ⃃ 100, with an unpublished per-statement cap
  • Essentials earn even less: 0.4% on groceries and supermarkets, 0.2% on fuel, utilities, real estate and education

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

As a free entry card for LuLu households, the Titanium does exactly what it says: 3.5% back on the LuLu shop, 2% on fuel and 1% on utilities, with points worth a ⃃ each spent straight at the till — and no fee, ever, from an ⃃ 5,000 salary. For a first credit card built around a LuLu grocery run, that is a fair deal.

What to watch

Just be clear about what it isn't. The lounge perk is gone (discontinued May 2025, whatever the page bullet says), the 833-point cycle cap limits big months, everything outside LuLu, fuel and utilities earns a token 0.35% or less, and points die outside LuLu's tills. If you spend more than about ⃃ 1,000 a month at LuLu, the Platinum's doubled rates repay its fees; if you barely shop at LuLu, get a cashback card instead.

Pros

  • No joining fee and no annual fee, ever
  • 3.5% back at LuLu with no minimum spend requirement
  • 2% on fuel and 1% on utilities covers everyday essentials
  • 1 LuLu Point = ⃃ 1, redeemable at 70+ LuLu stores 24 hours after the spend
  • Accessible ⃃ 5,000 salary requirement and LuLu member perks included

Cons

  • Airport lounge access was discontinued effective 1 May 2025 — the page bullet is stale
  • Earning capped at 833 LuLu Points per billing cycle
  • Points only spendable at LuLu — no cash, transfers or other redemptions
  • Thin 0.35% base rate, cut to 25% of that for non-LuLu groceries and fast food and 10% for education, real estate and government payments

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

As a free-for-life card there's little to lose: 5,000 Smiles points on arrival, quarterly bonus potential, balance transfer and instalment services, and school-fee splitting — all without an annual fee clock ticking. For a first card on an ⃃ 5,000 salary, that's a clean, Sharia-compliant package.

What to watch

Just be realistic about the rewards. The ⃃ 25,000 quarterly spend needed for the 10,000-point bonus equals ⃃ 8,300 a month — more than the entire minimum salary — so most holders of this card will earn nothing beyond the welcome points. If you actually spend at that level, ADIB's Cashback card or a Smiles Signature will pay you far more for the same swipes.

Pros

  • No annual fee for life, including supplementary cards
  • 5,000 Smiles points just for signing up
  • Accessible ⃃ 5,000 minimum salary
  • Smiles points redeem widely — flights, hotels, food delivery, vouchers and etisalat bills
  • Sharia-compliant with up to 55 days' grace period

Cons

  • No published per-⃃ earn rate — ongoing rewards are only the quarterly bonus
  • The quarterly bonus needs ⃃ 25,000 spend per quarter — steep for a ⃃ 5,000-salary card
  • No lounge access, travel insurance or lifestyle perks
  • Smiles points are awarded at ADIB's discretion; the self-funded variant gets just 2,500 welcome points
  • 3.75% monthly Murabaha profit rate applies if you don't clear your balance

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

For LuLu regulars this is close to a no-brainer: 8% back on every LuLu shop with no minimum spend, on a card that never charges an annual fee, plus lounge access for you and a supplementary cardholder — a perk almost unheard of on a free store card. Redemption is refreshingly simple too: 5,000 points knock ⃃ 50 off at any UAE LuLu till.

What to watch

Treat it strictly as a LuLu card, though. Non-LuLu spend earns a vague 'up to 1.25%' with undisclosed tiers, points only ever turn back into LuLu shopping, and the 2.99% foreign-currency fee rules it out for travel. The ⃃ 8,000 salary floor is also oddly high — LuLu's own budget-minded shoppers may need to look at the LuLu Titanium instead.

Pros

  • 8 LuLu Points per ⃃ 1 (8% back) at LuLu, with no minimum spend
  • Free for life — no annual fee at all
  • Airport lounge access for primary and supplementary cardholders
  • Simple redemption: 5,000 points = ⃃ 50 at any UAE LuLu store
  • Buy-one-get-one Reel Cinemas tickets, up to 2 free per month
  • 0% instalment plan for school fees

Cons

  • Rewards only redeem at LuLu stores in the UAE — no cash or transfer options
  • Non-LuLu spend earns just 'up to' 1.25%, with the tiers undisclosed
  • ⃃ 8,000 minimum salary is high for a store card
  • 2.99% foreign-currency fee makes it a poor travel card
  • Points expire after 3 years
  • 3.69% monthly interest if you carry a balance

What “no annual fee” really means

No-fee cards fall into two camps: genuinely free-for-life products, and fee-waiver cards that quietly start charging when a spend condition is missed. This page lists only the first kind.

A free card is the right default if your salary is under ⃃ 10,000 or you are still building a credit history in the UAE — net value nearly always beats premium cards at that income level.

You can still layer perks on top: several free cards include cinema offers, airport discounts and installment plans, so compare benefits — not just the fee line.

Frequently asked questions

The fee is zero, but interest, late-payment and cash-advance charges still apply — pay in full each month and the card costs nothing.

Earn rates are lower than premium cards, but for salaries under ⃃ 10,000 they usually deliver better net value once fees are counted.

Banks must give 60 days’ notice before fee changes under UAE Central Bank rules. “Free for life” cards on this page are contractual, not promotional.
