Rewards rate
“This is the rare entry-level card that earns exactly like its premium sibling — same 6% on Amazon, same free-for-life fee, just fewer perks around it. If you have Prime and earn 5,000-15,000, there's very little to think about; without Prime, skip it.”
Earning and redeeming Amazon Reward Points
The Platinum card uses the same earn table as the Amazon World card, keyed to your daily Prime status: 6% on Amazon.ae, 2% on Amazon Fresh and gift cards, 2.5% on international spend (outside the UK/EEA) and up to 2% on other domestic spend. Everyday categories — government services, utilities, supermarkets, education, insurance, real estate, car dealerships, fast food and fuel — earn just 0.25%.
Redemption is the simplest in the UAE market: 1 point = 1 off at Amazon.ae checkout once the card is added as a payment method. Points land within 3 days of a transaction posting, last 5 years, and there is no monthly earning cap — though points only accrue on spend up to your credit limit each month, and bank-channel bill payments earn nothing.
