Rewards rate
"For committed Emirates flyers this card is close to a no-brainer: Silver tier alone changes how you travel, and the welcome bonus is one of the biggest in the market. But be honest about the price of admission — 3,148.95 up front is more than most annual fees, and if you only fly Emirates once or twice a year, the Skywards Signature delivers the same earning DNA at half the cost."
Earning and redeeming Skywards Miles
Earn rates are quoted per USD 1 equivalent (about 3.67): 2 Miles with Emirates, Emirates Holidays, flydubai, duty free, online food delivery and car booking apps; 1.5 Miles on international spend; and 1 Mile on domestic spend. Watch the EU/UK carve-out — merchants there earn just 50% of the international rate. Optionally, the Skywards Express Miles subscription ( 250 + VAT monthly, replacing your annual fee) adds 50% more Miles on everything except Emirates transactions.
There's no transfer step or bank portal: Miles post straight to your Emirates Skywards account, where you redeem for Emirates and flydubai flights and upgrades. The complimentary Silver tier stacks on top — Business Class lounge access in Dubai, priority check-in and extra baggage — and per the offer terms it lasts as long as the card, with existing Gold and Platinum tiers unaffected.
