Rewards rate
Free cards usually earn nothing and offer less; the Indulge breaks that rule. 5x on all online spending plus 20,000 bonus Rewards at 10,000 monthly spend is genuinely strong for zero fee — and the 20 cinema tickets and 150-restaurant dining programme are perks you'll actually use. Just don't kid yourself about the 1x base rate: offline, this earns about 0.3%.
Earning and redeeming FAB Rewards
Every online transaction earns 5 FAB Rewards per 1 — FAB defines this by the network's online flag, so it covers everything from Amazon to food delivery apps. Other spending earns 1 per 1, with daily-essentials categories (supermarkets, fuel, telecom, education, government, utilities) at 0.5. Regular earning caps at 50,000 Rewards a month, and hitting 10,000 monthly retail spend adds a 20,000-Reward bonus (max 240,000 a year).
FAB Rewards are worth roughly 3 per 1,000. Redeem as cashback, spend them in-store at FAB POS terminals, buy vouchers via the FAB Rewards Shop, book travel through cleartrip.ae and musafir.com, pay utility bills, or convert to Skywards Miles, Etihad Guest Miles or Shukrans. Rewards expire two years after they're earned.
