Our take: The UAE's flagship Emirates co-brand: Skywards Silver plus strong Emirates earn rates make it compelling for loyal Emirates flyers — but the ⃃ 3,148.95 joining fee demands real commitment.

Heads up: The ⃃ 3,148.95 joining fee is charged in your first statement, and the 100,000-mile bonus is an 'up to' figure credited on fee payment — everyday domestic spend earns just 1 Mile per USD 1.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

If your loyalty already lives with Emirates, this is the most direct credit card route to Skywards value in the UAE: miles post straight to your Skywards account, the automatic Silver tier delivers Business Class lounge access and priority treatment on every Emirates and flydubai trip, and the 2x rate on Emirates spend compounds what you're already spending on flights. The up-to-100,000-mile welcome bonus is genuinely large — roughly a return Business Class reward to several Skywards destinations.

What to watch

The economics only work if you commit. ⃃ 3,148.95 up front plus ⃃ 1,575 a year from year two is serious money, and away from the bonus categories the earn rate is ordinary — 1 Mile per USD 1 at home and half the international rate in Europe and the UK. Fly Emirates a few times a year in premium cabins and the Silver tier plus bonus miles justify the fees; otherwise the cheaper Skywards Signature or a free travel card will serve you better.

Pros

  • Up to 100,000 bonus Skywards Miles plus first-year Rotana Rewards Exclusive membership
  • Automatic Skywards Silver tier — Business Class lounge access and priority perks with Emirates and flydubai
  • 2 Miles per USD 1 on Emirates, flydubai, duty free, food delivery and car booking apps
  • Lower 3.25% monthly interest rate than most ENBD cards
  • Lounge access via Visa Airport Companion, golf, valet parking and concierge on top

Cons

  • ⃃ 3,148.95 joining fee — one of the steepest entry costs in the UAE market
  • ⃃ 1,575 annual fee from year two with no first-year-free option
  • ⃃ 30,000 minimum salary shuts out most applicants
  • Domestic earn of 1 Mile per USD 1 (~0.27 per ⃃) is modest, and EU/UK spend earns half the international rate
  • 1.99% foreign-transaction fee plus a ~1.15% network fee on non-⃃ spend

Our take: The strongest Majid Al Futtaim earner in the UAE — 6% at MAF and Carrefour plus a real 2% base rate and unlimited lounge access — if your spending justifies the ⃃ 999 fee.

Heads up: The ⃃ 999 fee (plus VAT) recurs unless you spend ⃃ 75,000 a year (or ⃃ 30,000 in non-⃃), and non-MAF supermarkets, fuel and government payments earn just 0.5% — with a fixed 3.75% monthly profit rate if you don't pay in full.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

For a household that shops at Carrefour and lives around Majid Al Futtaim malls, this is the strongest SHARE earner on the market: 6% back (12% in the first 90 days for applications until 31 December 2026), an unusually good 2% on everything else local, a 10,000-point bonus, and unlimited lounge access with a guest — all on a Sharia-compliant covered card. The ⃃ 999 fee also has a real escape hatch: spend ⃃ 75,000 in a year (or ⃃ 30,000 in foreign currency) and it's reversed from year two.

What to watch

The honesty check: the fee is exclusive of VAT and payable in year one regardless; the 0.5% "specific merchants" bucket quietly covers most non-MAF essentials — supermarkets, fuel, utilities, education, government; and the fixed 3.75% monthly murabaha profit rate (45.63% APR) is among the highest in the UAE if you don't settle in full. Pay the balance every month and keep the spend inside MAF, or the maths stops working.

Pros

  • 6% back at Carrefour, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre malls, Ski Dubai and Magic Planet — doubled to 12% for the first 90 days until 31 Dec 2026
  • Strong 2% base rate on other local spend, instantly redeemable (1 point = ⃃ 0.10, no minimum)
  • Unlimited airport lounge access for cardholder plus one guest
  • 10,000-point welcome bonus (⃃ 1,000) plus Visa travel medical and inconvenience cover
  • Sharia-compliant covered card; annual fee reversed from year 2 at ⃃ 75,000 total or ⃃ 30,000 non-⃃ spend

Cons

  • ⃃ 999 annual fee (plus 5% VAT) is payable every year unless you hit the spend-based reversal
  • Steep 3.75% fixed monthly murabaha profit rate (45.63% APR) if you don't settle in full
  • Supermarkets outside Carrefour, fuel, government, utilities and education earn just 0.5%
  • 2.3% non-⃃ transaction service fee — added on top of Visa's own rate and charges — and EEA spend earns only 0.5%
  • SHARE Points are locked to the Majid Al Futtaim ecosystem — no miles or cash conversion

Our take: The most interesting free card in ENBD's lineup — you pick 6 perks from 12, including 900+ lounge access, a roaming eSIM and a SupperClub membership — at an ⃃ 12,000 salary bar where such perks are rare.

Heads up: The perks are a pick list, not a bundle — you get 6 of 12 — the fee waiver is a current offer (standard fee ⃃ 735), and interest runs at 3.69% per month per the price guide.

  • Foreign fees: 1.99%
  • Concierge — selectable perkComplimentary concierge assistance for all your needs — one of the 4 lifestyle perks (choose 2).

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The Visa Flexi's pitch is genuinely novel for the UAE: instead of a fixed perk sheet, you build your own — 3 travel benefits from a list of 5 (900+ lounge access, Global Blue, airport transfers, flight-delay lounges, a 3GB roaming eSIM), 2 lifestyle perks from 4 (Careem discounts, golf, a 12-month SupperClub dining membership, concierge) and 1 entertainment treat from 3 (Anghami, STARZPLAY, VOX discounts). Getting lounge access and an eSIM on a fee-free card at an ⃃ 12,000 salary is a combination almost nothing else in the market offers.

What to watch

The core card underneath is ordinary: 1.5 Plus Points per ⃃ 100 with ENBD's 0.4%/0.2% penalty buckets, no welcome bonus, and a steep 3.69% monthly rate if you ever revolve. Quotas on the perks aren't published, so temper expectations. As a second card for perks — or a first card for a young traveller — it's an easy recommendation while the fee waiver lasts.

Pros

  • No joining or annual fees under the current offer
  • You assemble the perks yourself — 3 of 5 travel, 2 of 4 lifestyle, 1 of 3 entertainment
  • Lounge access to 900+ airport lounges is available on a card with a ⃃ 12,000 salary bar
  • Practical travel picks like a free 3GB roaming eSIM, airport transfers and Global Blue tax-refund perks
  • Purchase protection and extended warranty included

Cons

  • 3.69% monthly interest per the bank's price guide — expensive if you carry a balance
  • Ordinary earn rates: 1.5 points per ⃃ 100 with 0.4% and 0.2% penalty buckets on essentials
  • The no-fee deal is a current offer; the price guide lists a standard ⃃ 735 annual fee
  • Benefit quotas (lounge visits, transfer counts, Careem discount amounts) are not published

Our take: The value pick of the Emaar co-brand family: 6.25% back at Emaar, lounge access and Gold-tier hotel perks for ⃃ 262.50 a year at a 12,000 salary — just never carry a balance at its 3.69% monthly rate.

Heads up: The 6.25% is Emaar merchants only — everything else earns 1.25% — and the KFS puts interest at 3.69% per month (44.28% p.a.) even though the page still says 3.25%. No welcome bonus is currently advertised.

  • Fashion: Bicester Village Shopping CollectionVisa privileges at the Bicester Collection shopping villages when travelling.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The Signature is where the U by Emaar maths actually works. For ⃃ 262.50 a year — after a one-off ⃃ 525 joining fee — you get 6.25% back at every Emaar merchant, 1.25% everywhere else, lounge access at over 1,000 airports, Gold status, room upgrades and 15% off dining and spas at Emaar hotels. Spend just ⃃ 4,200 a year at Emaar and the annual fee is covered; everything after that is profit. At a 12,000-salary threshold, no other card gets you this much of the Emaar ecosystem this cheaply.

What to watch

Two honest warnings. First, the interest rate: the KFS puts this card at 3.69% per month — 44.28% a year — so it is strictly a pay-in-full card. Second, the lock-in: Upoints only spend inside Emaar, there is no welcome bonus, and the 200,000-point annual cap (with monthly sub-caps) limits truly heavy spenders. If your spending centres on Mall of the Emirates instead, the SHARE family is the mirror-image; if it barely touches Emaar at all, a straight cashback card will serve you better.

Pros

  • 6.25% back at Emaar for an ⃃ 262.50 annual fee — the best value-per-⃃ in the U by Emaar family
  • Lounge access at 1,000+ airports is rare at a 12,000-salary card
  • Gold status brings room upgrades and 15% off dining and spas at Emaar hotels
  • Points redeem instantly at the till at 2,500+ Emaar stores, no transfer step
  • Reel Cinemas BOGO plus The Entertainer offers via Visa

Cons

  • 3.69% monthly interest (44.28% p.a.) — among the highest tiers ENBD charges, despite the page still showing 3.25%
  • No welcome bonus is currently advertised
  • Rewards are locked to Emaar — Upoints have no cash value and no airline or cash conversion
  • Non-Emaar spend earns a modest 1.25%
  • Earning is capped at 200,000 Upoints a year with monthly sub-caps — a fifth of the Infinite's cap

Our take: The accessible Emirates co-brand: real Skywards earning, a 40,000-mile bonus and genuinely unlimited lounge access at an ⃃ 12,000 salary — but the joining fee and thin domestic earn temper the deal.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The Skywards Signature is the sensible way into the Emirates co-brand family: a 12,000-⃃ salary bar instead of 30,000, ⃃ 735 a year instead of 1,575, and the same clean mechanic of miles posting straight to your Skywards account. The unlimited lounge access — over 1,000 lounges in 300+ cities — is a standout at this fee level, and the 40,000-mile welcome bonus meaningfully shortens the runway to a reward flight.

What to watch

Just be clear about what you give up: no Skywards Silver tier, a 3.69% monthly interest rate, and an everyday earn of 0.75 Miles per USD 1 that shrinks to 0.37 in Europe and the UK. If your Emirates and international spend is light, the fees will out-run the miles; if you fly Emirates often and clear the higher salary bar, the Infinite's Silver tier and bigger bonus justify its premium.

Pros

  • Skywards Miles from an ⃃ 12,000 salary — the accessible route into the Emirates co-brand family
  • Unlimited lounge access to 1,000+ lounges in 300+ cities via Visa Airport Companion
  • Up to 40,000 bonus Skywards Miles in the first year
  • 1.5 Miles per USD 1 on Emirates, flydubai, duty free, food delivery and car booking apps
  • 0% instalment plans over 3–24 months at participating merchants

Cons

  • ⃃ 1,573.95 joining fee up front, then ⃃ 735 a year — never free
  • Weak everyday earn: 0.75 Miles per USD 1 domestic (~0.2 per ⃃) and just 0.37 in the EU/UK

Our take: Most of the Infinite's headline perks — unlimited lounges, Skywards Silver, strong Emirates earn — at a third of the fee, making it the more rational Islamic Skywards pick for most flyers.

Heads up: The ⃃ 1,500 fee (+5% VAT) has no advertised first-year waiver, the 25,000-mile bonus threshold isn't published, and keeping Skywards Silver after year one requires USD 2,500 of Emirates spend a year.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

For most people weighing ADIB's two Skywards cards, this is the one to get. You keep the benefits that actually matter day-to-day — unlimited lounge access via the VAC app, Skywards Silver, home check-in and airport transfers — and the earn rates only drop modestly (2.5 vs 3 Miles on Emirates, 1 vs 1.5 locally), while the fee falls from ⃃ 4,500 to ⃃ 1,500.

What to watch

It still isn't cheap, and the usual ADIB caveats apply: the welcome-bonus threshold isn't published, 'specific categories' earn almost nothing, and the 3.75% monthly profit rate punishes carried balances. But if you fly Emirates a few times a year and want an Islamic card, the value equation here is genuinely reasonable.

Pros

  • Solid Emirates earn — 2.5 Miles per ⃃ 3.68 (≈ USD 1) on Emirates, flydubai and Emirates Holidays
  • Unlimited worldwide lounge access through the Visa Airport Companion app — rare at this fee level

Our take: The same flagship Emaar package as the U by Emaar Infinite, minus its worst feature — the fees in year one. For Emirati Emaar loyalists the first-year-free entry, 15% intro earn and 10,000-point spend bonus make this the obvious way in.

Heads up: Open to UAE Nationals only, and the ⃃ 1,575 annual fee returns from year two. The 15% intro rate lasts just 3 months, the spend bonus needs USD 10,000 in 3 statements, and Upoints never leave the Emaar ecosystem.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

This is the U by Emaar Infinite re-priced for UAE Nationals, and the difference is entirely in your favour: no ⃃ 2,625 joining fee, a free first year, 15% back on Emaar spend for the first three months and a concrete 10,000-Upoint bonus on USD 10,000 of retail spend in the first three statements. The ongoing package is identical — 7.5% at Emaar, Platinum status, suite upgrades, 20% off hotel dining and spas, 1,000+ lounges and Dubai Mall valet.

What to watch

Judge it on year two onwards: ⃃ 1,575 a year is only worth paying if your Emaar spend stays heavy enough to out-earn it — roughly ⃃ 21,000 a year at the 7.5% rate just to break even, before valuing the perks. If it doesn't, downgrading to the free-for-life U by Emaar Family or the ⃃ 262.50 Signature keeps you in the ecosystem at a fraction of the cost. As a first-year proposition for an Emirati Emaar regular, though, this is the best deal in the U by Emaar family.

Pros

  • First year free and no joining fee — the standard U by Emaar Infinite charges ⃃ 2,625 to join
  • 15% back on Emaar spend for the first 3 months, then 7.5% ongoing
  • 10,000-Upoint spend bonus on USD 10,000 (about ⃃ 36,700) in the first 3 statements
  • Automatic Platinum status: suite upgrades and 20% off dining and spas at Emaar hotels
  • As a UAE National you get the 3.25% monthly rate guaranteed across all ENBD cards

Cons

  • UAE Nationals only — residents must take the standard Infinite with its ⃃ 2,625 joining fee
  • ⃃ 1,575 annual fee returns from year two with no published waiver
  • Rewards are locked to Emaar — Upoints have no cash value and no airline or cash conversion
  • Non-Emaar spend earns an ordinary 1.5%
  • ⃃ 30,000 minimum salary keeps it an affluent-segment card

Yajool Editor’s Rating ?Card Rating is based on the opinion of Yajool’s editors and is not influenced by the card issuer.3.8 / 5Go to review

Our take: The best ENBD card for Priority clients who make large transactions — 5% back on ⃃ 5,000+ purchases plus beach club and gym access — but statement caps and the 1% floor on everyday categories keep real-world returns well below the headline.

Heads up: Requires an existing Priority Banking relationship. The 5% only applies to transactions of ⃃ 5,000+, earning is capped at 5,000 points per statement and 60,000 a year, and the ⃃ 5,000 quarterly cashback is a prize draw, not a rebate.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

For Priority Banking clients this is ENBD's most interesting non-co-brand card. The tiered earn structure rewards exactly how wealthier households spend — single transactions of ⃃ 5,000+ return 5% as never-expiring Plus Points, redeemable instantly at POS, against miles or as cashback. Layer on beach club and gym access, free golf, monthly valet parking and airport transfers, and the first-year-free proposition is easy to say yes to.

What to watch

Read the caps before celebrating: 5,000 points per statement and 60,000 a year mean the 5% rate saturates at roughly ⃃ 100,000 of top-tier spend per statement in theory but far less in practice, and everyday categories crawl at 1% with a 1,000-point cap. The ⃃ 5,000 quarterly cashback is a raffle, not a rebate. As a perks-plus-rewards package for big-ticket spenders it clearly beats the standard Visa Infinite; just don't expect the headline 5% on your whole statement.

Pros

  • Up to 5% as Plus Points on big-ticket transactions — among the highest headline rates in the UAE
  • First year free, and Plus Points on this card never expire
  • Genuine lifestyle package: beach clubs, gyms, free golf, 4 valet parkings a month and 4 airport transfers a year
  • Flexible redemption: instant at POS, against airline miles or as cashback
  • 3.25% monthly interest, lower than ENBD's entry cards

Cons

  • Exclusive to existing Priority Banking customers — you can't just apply on salary
  • The 5% rate only applies to single transactions of ⃃ 5,000+; below ⃃ 2,500 you earn 1%
  • Tight caps: 5,000 points per statement and 60,000 points a year, with essentials capped at 1,000 points
  • Supermarkets, fuel, utilities, education, government and telecom all earn a flat 1%
  • ⃃ 1,575 annual fee from year two, and the ⃃ 5,000 quarterly cashback is a lucky draw, not a guarantee

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The Darna Visa Signature is the card most Aldar regulars should actually get. It keeps the heart of the proposition — 7.5% back across Yas Mall, the Yas Island parks and Aldar hotels, instant till redemption, Gold-tier hotel and dining discounts — at an ⃃ 12,000 salary bar and, for now, no fee at all for life.

What to watch

Treat it strictly as an Aldar card, though: 1% everywhere else is beatable by plenty of free cashback cards, and the 3.69% monthly interest rate punishes carried balances. If the free-for-life window closes, ⃃ 315 a year is still easy to recoup — about ⃃ 4,200 of Aldar spend covers it.

Pros

  • 7.5% value back at 1,200+ Aldar destinations for a card that's currently free for life
  • Points spend like cash at the till — 10 points = ⃃ 1
  • Darna Gold tier: up to 30% off hotel stays and 20% off dining at select Aldar hotels
  • Airport lounge access via Visa Airport Companion — rare on a free card
  • Accessible ⃃ 12,000 minimum salary and 0% Aldar Education & Property instalments

Cons

  • Only 1% back outside Aldar destinations — weak as an everyday card
  • The free-for-life deal is a limited-time offer; the standard fee is ⃃ 315 a year
  • Value is concentrated in Abu Dhabi's Aldar ecosystem
  • High 3.69% monthly interest rate if you carry a balance

  • Foreign fees: None

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The dnata World is really two cards in one: a 0%-forex-markup travel card — a rarity in the UAE, where 2–3% markups are the norm — and a co-brand card that pays up to 15% back in dnata Points at dnata-owned brands like Costa Coffee, dnata Travel and Dubai Duty Free. Add 1,000+ lounges via Mastercard Travel Pass, golf, concierge and a comparatively gentle 3.25% monthly interest rate, and the package is coherent for a frequent traveller.

What to watch

The catch is the price of admission: ⃃ 1,048.95 at joining and again every year, with no first-year waiver, against a welcome bonus worth at most 2,500 dnata Points. If you spend heavily abroad the forex saving alone can cover the fee — roughly ⃃ 53,000 of overseas spend at a typical 2% markup — but if you mostly spend at home in ⃃, a cheaper ENBD card will serve you better.

Pros

  • 0% bank forex markup on international spend — genuinely rare in the UAE
  • 15% back in dnata Points at Costa Coffee, City Sightseeing, Giraffe and dnata Travel; 10% on Duty Free
  • Solid 1.5% points-back base rate on all other retail spend
  • Lounge access, golf, concierge and Abu Dhabi valet parking included
  • 3.25% monthly interest rate — lower than most ENBD cards

Cons

  • ⃃ 1,048.95 joining fee AND the same again every year — not waived for year one
  • Top earn rates are locked to a narrow list of dnata-owned brands
  • dnata Points redeem within the dnata ecosystem, not as open cash or airline miles
  • ⃃ 20,000 minimum salary puts it out of most applicants' reach
  • Mastercard's ~1.15% network processing fee can still apply on non-⃃ spend despite the 0% bank markup

Our take: A perfectly reasonable free card whose real product is the Bon Appétit dining discount — up to 30% at 2,000+ restaurants — because the Plus Points earn rates won't move the needle.

Heads up: The rewards are thin: 1.5 points per ⃃ 100 with 0.4% at supermarkets and 0.2% on fuel and bills, there's no lounge access, and the fee waiver is a current offer, not a promise.

  • Foreign fees: 1.99%
  • LiveWell: up to 50% off health & fitnessUp to 50% discount on health and fitness through the LiveWell programme.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The Visa Platinum is ENBD's everyday free card, and its honest pitch is lifestyle discounts rather than rewards: up to 30% off at more than 2,000 restaurants through Bon Appétit and up to 50% off health and fitness via LiveWell. For a card with no annual fee under the current offer and a ⃃ 12,000 salary bar, that dining programme alone can be worth hundreds of ⃃ a year to someone who eats out weekly.

What to watch

Treat the Plus Points as a rounding error — 1.5 per ⃃ 100 on retail with 0.4%/0.2% penalty buckets on essentials — and note there's no lounge access or welcome bonus. If you'll carry a balance, the 3.69% monthly rate in the price guide is a reason to look elsewhere; if you pay in full and love restaurants, this is a sensible zero-cost keeper.

Pros

  • No annual fee under the bank's current offer
  • Bon Appétit dining discounts — up to 30% at over 2,000 UAE restaurants — on a free card
  • Up to 50% off health and fitness via LiveWell
  • Purchase protection and extended warranty included

  • No airport lounge access

Our take: The top tier of the Emaar co-brand — 7.5% back at Dubai Mall, Emaar hotels and attractions plus genuine Platinum perks — but ⃃ 2,625 upfront and ⃃ 1,575 a year is a lot when the Signature earns 6.25% for a sixth of the fee.

Heads up: The 7.5% only applies to Emaar merchants — everything else earns 1.5% — and the ⃃ 2,625 joining fee has no published spend-back offer. The "up to 25,000 Upoints" welcome bonus mechanics are not spelled out on the bank page.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The U by Emaar Infinite is the flagship of Emaar's co-brand family: 7.5% back as Upoints everywhere Emaar operates — Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina Mall, Address and Vida hotels, Reel Cinemas' parent attractions — plus automatic Platinum status, suite upgrades, 20% off hotel dining and spas, lounge access and Dubai Mall valet. For a household that genuinely lives inside the Emaar ecosystem, the earn rate and status perks are real.

What to watch

The economics are the catch. ⃃ 2,625 upfront and ⃃ 1,575 every year is steep when the U by Emaar Signature earns 6.25% at Emaar for ⃃ 262.50 a year — the extra 1.25% only out-earns the fee gap once your Emaar spend passes roughly ⃃ 100,000 a year, before valuing the Platinum perks. Add an unexplained "up to 25,000 Upoints" welcome offer and points that can never leave Emaar, and this is a card for committed Emaar loyalists with suite-upgrade tastes, not casual mall visitors.

Pros

  • Automatic U by Emaar Platinum status: suite upgrades, 20% off dining and spas at Emaar hotels
  • Points redeem instantly at the till at 2,500+ Emaar stores, no transfer step

Cons

  • ⃃ 2,625 joining fee plus ⃃ 1,575 annual fee (incl. VAT), with no published fee-back offer
  • Rewards are locked to Emaar — Upoints have no cash value and no airline or cash conversion

Our take: A quirky two-card package with a genuinely strong 5% rate on essentials — if you live in Abu Dhabi, clear the ⃃ 5,000 monthly bar, and respect the 500-point cap.

Heads up: Abu Dhabi residents only. The 5% rate needs ⃃ 5,000+ per statement (otherwise 1.5%) and earning is capped at 500 Plus Points per statement; airport transfers and valet parking were discontinued in April 2025.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

Duo is Emirates NBD's oddball: one application, two physical cards — a Diners Club and a Mastercard — sharing one package, sold only to Abu Dhabi residents. The Diners badge brings worldwide lounge access and complimentary UAE golf; the Mastercard brings everyday acceptance, purchase protection and partner offers. The headline is the earn rate: 5% Plus Points on groceries, electronics, utilities, education and fuel is among the highest essential-category rates at the bank.

What to watch

The fine print does a lot of work, though. You need ⃃ 5,000 of statement spend to unlock the 5% (1.5% otherwise), the 500-point statement cap means roughly ⃃ 10,000 of category spend is all that earns, everything else pays just 0.5%, and the once-bundled airport transfers and valet parking are gone as of April 2025. For an Abu Dhabi family whose essentials fit that window, it's a strong, currently fee-free package; outside it, the maths thins out fast.

Pros

  • Two cards on one account — use Diners Club or Mastercard wherever each is accepted, and stack both networks' offers
  • 5% Plus Points on groceries, electronics, utilities, education and fuel — a genuinely high rate on essentials
  • Worldwide premium lounge access plus complimentary golf at top UAE courses
  • Buy-1-get-1 movie tickets at Cine Royals and a concierge desk
  • No annual fee under the bank's current offer

Cons

  • Exclusive to Abu Dhabi residents
  • The 5% rate needs ⃃ 5,000+ statement spend (else 1.5%) and is capped at 500 Plus Points per statement — the cap lands at roughly ⃃ 10,000 of category spend
  • Everything else earns just 0.5%, including travel, dining, hotels and online
  • Diners Club acceptance is limited, so the Mastercard will do most of the work
  • Airport transfers and valet parking were discontinued from 5 April 2025, and the KFS still lists a ⃃ 840 joining/renewal fee

Yajool Editor’s Rating ?Card Rating is based on the opinion of Yajool’s editors and is not influenced by the card issuer.3.9 / 5Go to review

Our take: A cheap, focused cashback card — 4% on the categories UAE households actually spend on, held back by tight per-category caps.

Heads up: The 4% is capped per category — ⃃ 300 on groceries, fuel and education, ⃃ 200 on dining and just ⃃ 100 on utilities — and the whole card tops out at ⃃ 1,000 cashback a month.

No processing fee, and the Murabaha profit is waived in full — the waiver is proportional to the converted fee amount against your total card limit. An ongoing feature of ADIB Covered Cards, not a seasonal promotion.
  • Cashback cap: ⃃ 1,000 / month

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

For ⃃ 99 a year this is one of the most efficient everyday cards in the UAE: a genuine 4% on groceries, fuel, school fees, dining and utilities with no minimum-spend hoop published. A family that maxes the caps gets back up to ⃃ 1,000 a month — roughly 120x the annual fee.

What to watch

The catch is the caps. ⃃ 300 of cashback at 4% means only ⃃ 7,500 of grocery spend counts each month, dining stops paying after ⃃ 5,000, and utilities after just ⃃ 2,500. Big spenders will hit the ceilings fast, and there's no published earning on anything else — pair it with another card for general spend, and remember the categories are discretionary and can be changed with notice.

Pros

  • Flat 4% cashback across five everyday spend categories
  • Very low ⃃ 99 annual fee (plus VAT)
  • Grace period of up to 55 days when you pay in full
  • Four free supplementary cards
  • Withdraw up to 100% of your cover limit as cash

Cons

  • Per-category cashback caps are tight — ⃃ 100 to ⃃ 300 each
  • No published cashback rate on spend outside the five categories
  • No lounge access or travel perks
  • Cashback categories are at the bank's discretion and can change after notice
  • 3.75% monthly Murabaha profit rate applies if you don't clear your balance

Our take: A classic fee-for-perks premium card: lounge access with a guest, golf, concierge and valet are genuinely useful, but up to 2 Plus Points per ⃃ 100 with penalty rates on essentials makes the ⃃ 1,575 fee hard to justify on rewards alone.

Heads up: ⃃ 1,575 every year with no welcome bonus — supermarkets earn just 0.4% and fuel, utilities, real estate and education 0.2%, and the per-statement earning cap isn't published.

Why we chose it

What makes it strong

The Visa Infinite is ENBD's plain-vanilla premium card: no co-brand, no welcome bonus, just a straightforward package of privileges — lounge access that covers a guest, complimentary UAE golf, a concierge desk and valet parking in Abu Dhabi. If you fly a few times a year with a companion and play golf, the perks alone can plausibly cover the ⃃ 1,575 fee.

What to watch

As a rewards card it is weak. Up to 2 Plus Points per ⃃ 100 sounds fine until you notice the penalty buckets — 0.4% at supermarkets, 0.2% on fuel, utilities, real estate and education — and an unpublished per-statement cap. With no welcome bonus to offset the fee, most spenders at this salary level will get more value from ENBD's Skywards Infinite for travel or a free card like the Visa Flexi for everyday spend.

Pros

  • Lounge access covers you plus one guest across 1,000+ lounges — many premium cards charge for guests
  • Complimentary golf, concierge desk and valet parking in Abu Dhabi
  • Instant Plus Points redemption at key merchant outlets — no transfer step
  • 3.25% monthly interest is lower than ENBD's entry-level cards (3.69%)

Cons

  • ⃃ 1,575 annual fee every year with no welcome bonus and no first-year waiver
  • Essentials earn poorly: 0.4% at supermarkets and groceries, 0.2% on fuel, utilities, real estate and education
  • Plus Points earning is capped per statement and the bank does not publish the cap on the card page

Earning on bills: the exclusion minefield

Utilities are the most commonly excluded rewards category in the UAE — many premium cards earn nothing or penalty rates on DEWA, telecom and government payments. The cards here still pay a real rate on household bills.

Put bills on auto-pay from the right card and audit the statement quarterly: banks move categories in and out of exclusion lists, and a silent change can cost a year of rewards.
