Rewards rate
This is the rare no-fee card whose headline rate is actually worth chasing — if your money already flows to Al-Futtaim brands. The 6% at IKEA or ACE is real, the 0% instalment plans sweeten big purchases, and it costs nothing to hold. Just don't mistake it for an everyday card: groceries, fuel and bills earn a rounding error.
Earning and redeeming Al-Futtaim FAB Rewards
Spending earns Al-Futtaim FAB Rewards points at 200 points per 1 of value. The headline is 6% back at Al-Futtaim retail brands — fashion, electronics, home and toys — with 2% at other Al-Futtaim businesses (automotive, education, real estate) and 1% everywhere else, in the UAE or abroad. Watch the floor, though: supermarkets, fuel, utilities, education, government services, insurance, rent and fast food earn just 0.15%, and earning stops each month once you've collected 2,000 in value.
Redemption is flexible for a store card: cashback to your card, paying with points at selected Al-Futtaim tills, e-vouchers, utility bills — or converting to Skywards and Etihad Guest Miles (FAB doesn't publish the mile conversion rate). Points last 2 years from the end of the month you earn them. Adding the card to the Blue app layers on an instant 1% in Blue Points at participating brands plus 3,000+ 2-for-1 deals.
