Rewards rate
"For 0 a year you get lounge visits, valet, roadside assistance and travel insurance — a package most banks charge 500+ for. The Signature hits the sweet spot in the Prime range: most of the Infinite's substance at a salary floor 5,000 lower."
Earning and redeeming Wala'a Rewards
The Prime Signature earns 2.5 Wala'a Rewards per 1 on UAE retail spend and 3 per equivalent in foreign currency. At 20,000 Wala'a Rewards = 100, that's about 1.25% back domestically. The same traps as the whole Prime family apply: EU spend earns nothing, and supermarkets, telecom, education, petroleum, government services (including utility bills), takaful, car dealers, transport and real estate all drop to 0.2 Wala'a per — roughly 0.1%. Bills paid through DIB's own platforms, FX purchases, crypto, wire transfers and charity earn nothing.
Redemption is straightforward: flights and hotels, statement credit, Amazon.ae gift cards, utility bill payments or miles exchange, all at a flat 20,000 points = 100. No award charts to game — treat the points as a slow-building cash pot.

Pros and cons
- Genuinely free for life — the KFS lists both annual and renewal fee as Nil
- About 1.25% effective return on general domestic spend (2.5 Wala'a per 1)
- 8 lounge visits a year plus multi-trip travel insurance at no fee
- 2 free valet parkings a month and roadside assistance up to 3 times a year
- Fully Sharia-compliant Salam structure with late payments going to charity, not the bank
- High 3.70% international usage fee outweighs the better 3x foreign-currency earn rate
- Spend in EU countries earns no Wala'a Rewards at all
- Supermarkets, fuel, telecom, education, government and similar categories earn only about 0.1%
- Valet and similar offers require 5,000 minimum monthly spend to stay free
- Profit rate of up to 3.69% per month is steep if you carry a balance
- Lounge visits are for the cardholder only — guests pay
Is it right for you?
Get this card if
- You earn 15,000+ and want travel and lifestyle perks without ever paying a fee
- You can spend 5,000 a month to keep valet and the offers free
- You take a few trips a year — 8 lounge visits and travel insurance cover the basics
- You pay your balance in full each month
Consider skipping it if
- Most of your spend is supermarkets, fuel, telecom or bills — those earn ~0.1% here
- You spend heavily abroad — the 3.70% usage fee outweighs the extra earn, and EU spend earns nothing
- You often travel with a companion who'd need lounge access — guest visits cost extra
