Rewards rate
Free lounge access on a card with no annual fee is genuinely unusual in the UAE, and 7% at Al-Futtaim retail is the strongest realistic rate in the Blue family for most incomes. If your salary clears 15,000 and IKEA runs are routine, this is the Blue card to get — just route groceries, fuel and bills elsewhere.
Earning and redeeming Al-Futtaim FAB Rewards
Spending earns Al-Futtaim FAB Rewards points at 200 points per 1 of value. The Signature tier pays 7% back at Al-Futtaim retail brands, 3% at other Al-Futtaim businesses and 1% everywhere else, in the UAE or abroad. The floor is the same as the rest of the family: supermarkets, fuel, utilities, education, government services, insurance, rent and fast food earn just 0.15%, and earning pauses once you've collected 3,000 in value in a month.
Redemption options span cashback to your card, pay-with-points at selected Al-Futtaim tills, e-vouchers, utility bills, or conversion to Skywards and Etihad Guest Miles (conversion rates unpublished). Points last 2 years from the end of the earning month, and the Blue app adds an instant extra 1% in Blue Points at participating brands.
