Rewards rate
"Take this card for what it is: a free-forever backup that earns a little on everything and asks nothing in return. The Skywards conversion is a nice touch at this salary tier. Just don't take it travelling — 3.5% fx plus scheme fees — and don't expect the perks CBD saves for its paid cards."
Earning and redeeming CBD Rewards Points
The Visa Platinum earns up to 1.5 CBD Rewards Points per 1 on every spend — a solid headline for a free card, with the usual CBD asterisk: the bank publishes neither the tiering behind 'up to', nor an earning cap, nor what a point is worth in .
Redemption runs through the CBD Mobile App: convert to Emirates Skywards Miles, or take cashback, shopping vouchers, flights, hotel bookings, charity donations or Pay with Points. Skywards conversion on a card with an 5,000 salary bar is rare — just check the in-app rate before moving points.
