"At an ⃃ 5,000 salary and zero fees, the Titanium is a sensible first credit card — you get Bon Appétit dining, Mastercard offers and 0% instalments for nothing. Just read the lounge line carefully: it's a Flight Delay Pass, not lounge access, and the points are too thin to chase."

Earning and redeeming Plus Points

The Titanium earns up to 1 Plus Point per ⃃ 100 on retail spend — the bank frames this as up to 1% back. Essentials earn less: 0.4% on supermarkets, groceries, insurance and car dealerships, and 0.2% on fuel, utilities, real estate and education. A per-statement earning cap applies, and the cap amount isn't published on the card page.

Redemption is simple: instant Plus Points redemption at key merchant outlets, so small balances get used rather than forgotten. Treat the points as a rounding error on a free card — the dining programme and Mastercard offers are where the actual value sits.

  • Bon Appétit dining programme and Mastercard partner offers (Booking.com, Zee5, Lingokids)
  • Free lounge access via Flight Delay Pass when your flight is delayed
  • 0% instalment plans over 3–24 months and auto Salik top-up
  • Weak earning — 'up to' 1 Plus Point per ⃃ 100, with an unpublished per-statement cap
  • Essentials earn even less: 0.4% on groceries and supermarkets, 0.2% on fuel, utilities, real estate and education
  • No standing airport lounge access — lounges open only when your flight is delayed

Is it right for you?

Get this card if

  • You earn ⃃ 5,000+ and want a free first credit card from a major bank.
  • You'll actually use Bon Appétit dining offers and Mastercard partner deals.
  • You want 0% instalment plans and Salik auto top-up on a no-fee card.

Consider skipping it if

  • You expect airport lounge access — this card only opens lounges when your flight is delayed.
  • You want meaningful rewards — a capped 'up to 1%' with 0.2–0.4% on essentials earns very little.
  • You earn ⃃ 12,000+ — the Mastercard Platinum adds real lounge access and stronger perks for the same ⃃ 0.
