Cashback rate
The LIFE Platinum earns its keep the day you stop paying for a card you barely use — it's free forever, Shariah compliant, and still throws in unlimited lounge access and valet parking. Just don't build a cashback strategy around it: the 50 per-category caps turn those 50% and 10% headline rates into pocket money.
Earning cashback with the LIFE card
The LIFE card pays fixed-category cashback: 50% on refreshments and snacks, 10% at Amazon, noon and Careem, 5% on dine-in restaurants and 1% on everything else. On the free Platinum tier every category is capped at 50 a month, with total cashback capped at 200 a month — the cashback month runs from the 11th to the 10th. You must also put at least 3,000 of authorized transactions through the card in the statement cycle, or that cycle pays nothing.
The LIFE World variant ( 600 a year, waived on 5,000 spend within 60 days of issuance) doubles the caps to 100 per category, lifts dine-in to 7%, adds 5% on international spend and carries the 1,000 welcome bonus ( 10,000 spend in 60 days). The bank's page doesn't say how cashback is paid out, so check the LIFE Reward Program terms for redemption mechanics.
