Rewards rate
“This is the UAE hotel card to beat: automatic Gold Elite, 15 night credits and a free night that routinely outprices the fee. Put your Marriott stays and travel spend here — but keep groceries and bills on a different card.”
Earning and redeeming Marriott Bonvoy points
Points land straight in your Marriott Bonvoy account: 6 per US$1 at Marriott hotels and resorts, up to 3 per US$1 on international and general retail spend, and much less — 0.30 to 0.75 — on everyday categories like groceries, fuel and bills.
Yajool values Bonvoy points at roughly 0.008 each, which makes the full 150,000-point welcome bonus worth about 1,200 and the annual 50,000-point Free Night Award worth 400+ — more when redeemed against peak-priced Dubai weekends. Five-night redemptions get the fifth night free.

Frequently asked questions
Is the AED 1,575 annual fee worth it?+
For Marriott regulars, usually yes — the annual Free Night Award alone can cover a room that sells for more than the fee, before counting Gold Elite benefits and the welcome bonus.
What Marriott Bonvoy status do I get?+
Automatic Gold Elite (25% bonus points, room upgrades, 2PM late checkout), plus 15 Elite Night Credits a year. Spending US$100,000 annually fast-tracks you to Platinum Elite.
How does the 150,000-point welcome bonus work?+
Two halves: 75,000 points on card activation and payment of the joining fee, and another 75,000 after US$15,000 of retail spend in the first three billing statements.
Does the card include airport lounge access?+
Yes — complimentary worldwide lounge access through Mastercard Travel Pass. From 1 May 2025 you need to register on the Mastercard Travel Pass app to use it.
