Rewards rate
This is the rare premium card that costs nothing and still hands you unlimited lounge access, a real concierge and family travel insurance. The bar to get it is brutal — 40,000 a month — and the 2.5% foreign-currency fee is a strange flaw on a travel card. But if you qualify, nothing else in the UAE gives you this much for free.
Earning and redeeming NBF Rewards points
Your earn rate depends on which NBF segment you sit in. NBF Priority customers earn 3.5 points per in the UAE and 5 points per abroad; NBF Al Samy customers earn 4 and 6. That international premium is unusual — most UAE cards pay the same or less overseas — and it makes the card noticeably better on a trip than at home.
The exception is NBF's special categories, which pay a flat 1 point per : supermarkets, telecom, fuel stations, educational institutions, government services, charities, transport, rental companies, insurers and fast food. Between them these cover a large share of ordinary household spending, so model your own basket before assuming the headline rate. Earning is capped at 999,999 points a month, and transactions made inside NBF Direct or online banking earn nothing at all.
Points redeem three ways in the NBF Direct app: digital gift cards, instant cashback as a statement credit, or a transfer to Etihad Guest Miles — though NBF does not publish the transfer ratio, which makes the miles route impossible to value in advance. NBF puts a point at 0.0035, so 3.5 points per works out at roughly 1.2% back. Points expire two years after the month you earn them.

Pros and cons
- A full Visa Infinite — unlimited lounge access, 24/7 concierge and multi-trip travel insurance — at zero card fee today.
- Unlimited complimentary Visa Airport Companion visits to 1,200+ lounges, with no annual visit cap.
- The strongest earn in NBF's lineup: 3.5 points per in the UAE and 5 abroad for Priority customers, 4 and 6 for Al Samy.
- Multi-trip travel insurance covering you and immediate family for trips up to 90 days when tickets are bought with the card.
- The lowest interest rate NBF charges on a credit card, at 2.49% per month against 2.99% on the other two.
- 40,000 a month, or existing NBF Priority status, rules this out for most applicants.
- "Lifetime free" is conditional — NBF's schedule of charges lists 750 a year, waived only while you keep the segment eligibility.
- The 2.5% foreign-currency fee is charged on top of Visa International's own processing fee, and before 5% VAT.
- Supermarkets, fuel, telecom, education, government services, insurance and fast food all collapse to 1 point per .
- NBF values a point at 0.0035, so even 3.5 points per is roughly 1.2% back — good for a free card, not category-leading.
Is it right for you?
Get this card if
- You earn 40,000 a month or already bank with NBF Priority, and you fly several times a year.
- You want lounge access without paying an annual fee to get it.
- You travel with family and would otherwise buy standalone multi-trip travel insurance.
- You spend meaningfully abroad, where the card pays 5 to 6 points per .
Consider skipping it if
- Your spending is concentrated in supermarkets, fuel, schools and bills — all of which earn 1 point per here.
- You want a predictable travel currency: the Etihad Guest transfer ratio is unpublished.
- Foreign-currency fees matter to you more than lounges — 2.5% plus Visa's own charge is uncompetitive for a travel card.
- You may lose NBF Priority or Al Samy status, which would put the 750 fee back on the table.

Frequently asked questions
Is there an annual fee for the NBF Infinite Credit Card?+
NBF advertises the card as lifetime free, and the Key Facts Statement confirms no annual fee. The schedule of charges is more precise: the listed annual fee is AED 750, waived for as long as you maintain the relevant segment eligibility. In practice you pay nothing while you remain an NBF Priority or Al Samy customer.
What is the minimum salary requirement for the NBF Infinite Credit Card?+
AED 40,000 a month, or NBF Priority segment status. The card can also be issued against a fixed deposit — NBF requires a minimum deposit of AED 60,000, and issues 90% of it as your credit limit.
How does airport lounge access work on this card?+
Lounge access runs through the Visa Airport Companion app rather than Priority Pass. Register your card in the app, and NBF's FAQ states you get unlimited free access to more than 1,200 lounges worldwide. NBF does not publish a guest policy, so budget for guests paying their own way.
How many NBF Rewards points does the Infinite card earn?+
NBF Priority customers earn 3.5 points per AED spent in the UAE and 5 points per AED internationally. NBF Al Samy customers earn 4 and 6 respectively. Special categories — supermarkets, telecom, fuel, education, government services, charities, transport, rentals, insurance and fast food — earn 1 point per AED. Earning is capped at 999,999 points a month.
What does NBF charge on foreign-currency spending?+
A 2.5% processing fee on any transaction in a currency other than the dirham. NBF's schedule of charges states this is in addition to the standard processing fee Visa International charges, and all NBF fees are quoted before the 5% VAT the bank adds where applicable.
Do NBF Rewards points expire?+
Yes. Under clause 4.4 of the NBF Rewards terms, points are valid for two years from the last day of the month in which they were earned. Unused points are forfeited on expiry and cannot be re-credited.
What documents does NBF ask for?+
Passport, Emirates ID and residence visa, a salary certificate, and a signed undated cheque for 120% of the approved credit limit. You also need an NBF current account with salary transfer, or an NBF fixed deposit.
