Cashback rate
"This is cashback with the conditions stripped out: no monthly minimum, no tiers, no wallet thresholds — 5% on your phone bills and gadgets, credited within 15 days. The trade-off is everything else: a vague 'up to 1%' base rate, no travel perks, and an 367.50 fee that needs about 7,400 of telecom and electronics spending a year just to pay for itself."
Earning and redeeming Cashback Points
Two categories carry the card: telecom — Etisalat and du payments only — and electronics stores, both at a guaranteed 5%. Everything else, at home or abroad, earns up to 1%. Uniquely for a UAE cashback card, there is no minimum spend criteria whatsoever: your first earns.
Cashback accrues as points (redeemable against your card balance) and is credited within 15 days — no separate wallet, no 300 redemption floor. Balance transfers, cash advances and fees never earn. Supplementary cardholders — up to 4, free — earn cashback on their spending too.

Is it right for you?
Get this card if
- Your Etisalat/du bills and electronics purchases add up to 600+ a month — the 5% then clearly beats the fee.
- You want cashback with literally no minimum spend or tier tracking.
- You want a straightforward Sharia-compliant card and don't care about airport perks.
Consider skipping it if
- You want lounges, golf or travel benefits — this card advertises none.
- Your spending is broad rather than telecom/electronics-heavy — 'up to 1%' elsewhere won't cover 367.50.
- You'd rather have Emirates Islamic's Switch card: free first year, higher rates, more categories, real perks.
Alternatives to consider
Free first year, 4–8% on everyday categories, lounges and golf — the stronger card for most people at the same bank.
Best cashback cards →Up to 10% on groceries, school fees, dining and telecom once your monthly spend crosses 17,500 — plus lounges and golf.
