Rewards rate
Unlimited lounge access and Skywards Silver at 1,500 is a genuinely fair trade — this is the ADIB Skywards card most people should actually get. Just budget USD 2,500 of Emirates spend a year to keep Silver, and don't expect the bank to tell you the bonus threshold upfront.
Earning and redeeming Skywards Miles
The card earns Skywards Miles for every 3.68 (about USD 1) of eligible spend: 2.5 Miles with Emirates, flydubai and Emirates Holidays, 1.5 Miles in foreign currency, 1 Mile on local spend, and just 0.25 Miles on 'specific categories' the bank defines but doesn't list on the product page. Miles post directly to your Emirates Skywards account — no transfers needed.
Redemptions follow Emirates Skywards programme rules — flights and upgrades on Emirates and flydubai are the classic high-value uses. Note that cash withdrawals and broker/dealer-type transactions earn no Miles, and the 2.3% non- transaction service fee claws back part of the foreign-spend earn.

Frequently asked questions
Is the ADIB Emirates Skywards Visa Signature Card Sharia-compliant?+
Yes. It is an ADIB covered card — a fully Sharia-compliant structure based on a commodity Murabaha contract, supervised by ADIB's Internal Shari'a Supervisory Committee. It cannot be used for non-Sharia-compliant purchases such as alcohol or gambling.
What is the annual fee?+
AED 1,500 per year plus 5% VAT, per the ADIB Covered Cards Key Facts Statement and Schedule of Charges. No first-year waiver is advertised.
How many Skywards Miles does the card earn?+
For every AED 3.68 (about USD 1) of spend: 2.5 Miles with Emirates, flydubai and Emirates Holidays; 1.5 Miles on foreign-currency spend; 1 Mile on local-currency spend; and 0.25 Miles on specific categories defined by the bank.
How do I get the 25,000-mile welcome bonus?+
The bonus is awarded on your first spend, subject to activation, making your first retail transaction within 30 days of card issuance and meeting a required spend threshold (the threshold amount is not published — confirm with ADIB). Emirates Airlines employees are not eligible.
Does the card include airport lounge access?+
Yes — unlimited global lounge access. Download the Visa Airport Companion (VAC) app to see and access the lounges available to you worldwide.
How does the Skywards Silver membership work?+
You are upgraded to Skywards Silver from the card issuance date for the first year. To renew Silver in later years you must spend USD 2,500 (or the AED equivalent) on Emirates Airlines within 12 months of issuance or each card anniversary.
Does this card charge interest?+
No conventional interest. As a covered card it carries a fixed Murabaha monthly profit rate of 3.75% (45.63% APR). When you repay in full, the bank may waive the monthly profit in part or in full through STI account profit and a discretionary bonus — paying only the minimum increases the unwaived profit.
What is the minimum salary required?+
ADIB does not publish a card-specific minimum salary for this card. UAE Central Bank rules require a minimum monthly income of AED 5,000 for any covered card — confirm your eligibility directly with ADIB.
