Rewards rate
"This is the travel card Arab Bank actually lets you apply for, and it earns its fee on benefits rather than points: lounges in 500-plus cities, family travel insurance for trips up to 90 days, a working concierge and cinema BOGO. Just don't put your foreign spend on it — 3% is a lot on a travel card."
Earning and redeeming Arabi Points
Earning is flat: 1 Arabi Point per 2, whether you spend in Dubai or Dublin, capped at 100,000 points a month locally and 300,000 internationally. Points redeem for cash at 60,000 points per 1,000 through an ATM, Arabi Mobile or Arabi Online — about 0.83% back — and expire after 24 months.
Understand what you are paying for. The Signature earns exactly what Arab Bank's free Visa Classic earns, so the 1,000 buys the lounge access, the travel insurance and the concierge, not a better rate. If you would not use those three things at least a few times a year, the fee does not pay for itself.

Pros and cons

- Multi-trip travel insurance covering you and your family on trips up to 90 days, with medical and travel assistance
- Buy one get one free cinema tickets at VOX, Reel, Roxy and Novo, up to 4 tickets a day
- A genuine 24-hour concierge, including Arabic-language WhatsApp support
- Free for life if you are on Arab Bank's Elite programme, which also waives the supplementary card fee
- 1,000 a year, and 500 for each supplementary card, unless the fee is waived for Elite customers
- Earns the same 1 point per 2 as Arab Bank's free Visa Classic — the fee buys benefits, not a better rate
- Lounge access needs an international purchase each calendar year and app registration, and the free visit count is not published
- Up to 3% on foreign-currency spend, which stings on a card sold on travel
- Two advertised perks have lapsed: the free Careem Plus subscription ended 31 July 2026 and the GetTransfer discount on 1 May 2026
Is it right for you?
Get this card if
- You fly several times a year and want lounge access plus insurance in one card.
- Arab Bank's Elite programme waives the 1,000 fee for you.
- You go to the cinema often — BOGO at all four major UAE chains is worth real money.
Consider skipping it if
- Most of your spend is in foreign currency: up to 3% wipes out the benefit value.
- You want a strong earn rate — this is the same 1 point per 2 as the free Classic.
- You won't register in the Visa Airport Companion app or make an international purchase each year, which the lounge benefit requires.
Alternatives to consider
0% cross-border commission in seven currencies for 600 — no lounges, but far cheaper abroad.

Frequently asked questions
What is the annual fee on the Arab Bank Visa Signature?+
AED 1,000 for the primary card and AED 500 for each supplementary card. Arab Bank's fee schedule says both are free for life for Elite and Premium customers, while the Key Facts Statement says free for Elite. Fees are quoted excluding 5% VAT.
How does the lounge access work?+
Through the Visa Airport Companion app, which covers more than 1,300 lounges in over 500 cities. Register in the app and show the digital membership at the lounge; the attendant scans your 16-digit membership number. Eligibility requires one international purchase or e-commerce transaction during the calendar year, and it can take up to 15 days to appear in the app. Arab Bank does not publish how many visits are complimentary.
Can I get unlimited lounge visits?+
Yes, by upgrade. You become eligible for unlimited access if your card limit is USD 25,000 or more, or your total spend on the card at any point in the year reaches USD 20,000, subject to the eligibility criteria.
What travel insurance is included?+
Multi-trip travel insurance covering you and your family on all trips, with a maximum trip duration of 90 days, including COVID-19. It comes with medical and travel assistance: telephone medical advice, provider referrals, delivery of essential medicine, dispatch of a physician, medical evacuation and repatriation, and legal and interpreter referrals. Coverage limits are not published on the card page.
What cinema offer does the card give?+
Buy one get one free tickets at VOX, Reel, Roxy and Novo Cinemas, valid on a maximum of four tickets per day. Each cinema's own terms apply.
Are the Careem Plus and GetTransfer offers still running?+
No. Arab Bank's Key Facts Statement dates the complimentary Careem Plus annual subscription to 31 July 2026, and the card page dates the 11% GetTransfer discount to 1 May 2026. Both windows have closed, so do not apply for the card expecting them.
How many Arabi Points does the Signature earn?+
One point per AED 2 of spend, local or international — the same rate as every other Arab Bank card except the Gold. With 60,000 points redeeming for AED 1,000 in cash, that is about 0.83% back, capped at 100,000 points a month locally and 300,000 internationally.
What does it cost to spend abroad?+
Up to 3% cross-border and foreign-exchange commission on the transaction value, plus the exchange rate. If foreign-currency spend dominates your travel budget, Arab Bank's Visa Travel Mate charges 0% on USD, EUR, GBP, JOD, SAR, CAD and TRY.
