Rewards rate
"Rate for rate, nothing else in the UAE earns Skywards Miles this fast on Emirates bookings, and a Silver tier that actually renews each year is rarer than it should be. But 2,625 every year is a serious toll, and the 0.25x penalty bucket quietly covers most of a household's routine spending — this card rewards flying, not living."
Earning and redeeming Skywards Miles
Earn rates are quoted per USD 1 equivalent (about 3.67): 2.75 Miles on direct bookings with Emirates and flydubai, 1.5 Miles on foreign-currency spend, and 1 Mile on spend anywhere. Watch the penalty bucket — government services, public transport, utilities, telecom, education, real estate, fuel, groceries, supermarkets, insurance and auto dealers all earn just 0.25 Miles per USD 1. Visa alone decides a transaction's category, and one transaction can only earn in one category.
Miles flow to your Emirates Skywards account shortly after each statement — no portal, no transfer step — and redeem with Emirates and flydubai for flights, upgrades, partner airlines, hotels and gift cards. Under the No Miles Expiry terms, card-earned Miles never expire while your card and Skywards account stay open, and the complimentary Silver tier renews every year you keep the card in good standing.

Is it right for you?
Get this card if
- You book Emirates or flydubai directly several times a year — 2.75x plus Silver tier compounds fast.
- You earn 30,000+ a month and will hit 50,000 spend in 60 days for the full 50,000-Mile bonus.
- You value Miles that never expire and a lounge benefit without a visit cap.
Consider skipping it if
- Most of your spend is groceries, fuel, utilities or school fees — that's the 0.25x bucket.
- You won't recover 2,625 in flights and perks every single year — the Signature is 1,050.
- You ever revolve a balance — 44.28% APR wipes out any Miles value.
