Rewards rate
"One return flight to Etihad Guest Gold is the single best status shortcut on any UAE Etihad card, and 55,000 miles up front is real money. What stops a higher score is everything around the headline: a fee that never gets waived, a paid booster masquerading as the earn rate, and a lounge promise with no published details."
Earning and redeeming Etihad Guest Miles
The Infinite earns 3.5 miles per 10 at home, a strong 6 per 10 abroad, and double miles — 7 per 10 — on tickets booked directly on Etihad Airways and partner websites, uncapped. Supermarkets, utilities, fuel, transport, education and government payments earn a flat 1.5 per 10; everything else caps at 55,000 miles a month and rounds down to the whole mile. The 'up to 7.5' billboard is the optional Miles Accelerator at 250 a month, not the base rate — and note the 6-per--10 international rate competes with a 2.61%+VAT foreign transaction fee.
The status machinery is the real sell. All spend earns 2.5 Etihad Tier Miles per 10 (doubled in your first 90 days, capped at 50,000 a year), and the Gold fast track needs just one return Etihad flight within six months — Gold brings bonus miles, lounge access when flying Etihad, and priority handling. Add the 75% award voucher at 200,000 annual spend and four inflight Wi-Fi vouchers. Miles sweep daily into your Etihad Guest account for redemption on etihadguest.com.

- The advertised 'up to 7.5 miles per 10' is the Miles Accelerator rate — a paid booster at 250 a month
- 3.99% monthly interest (47.88% APR) is among the highest in the UAE market
- Supermarkets, fuel, utilities, education and government spend earn just 1.5 per 10, with a 55,000-mile monthly cap
- The high 6-per--10 international rate is blunted by a 2.61% + VAT foreign transaction fee plus scheme charges
Is it right for you?
Get this card if
- You fly Etihad often and want Gold — one return flight on this card gets you there.
- You earn 30,000+ and route serious spend through one card — the 75% voucher rewards exactly that.
- You spend heavily abroad or on Etihad directly, where 6–7 miles per 10 leads the lineup.
Consider skipping it if
- Your Etihad flying wouldn't fill the Gold fast track — the Signature does 80% of this for 60% of the fee.
- Your spend is mostly supermarkets, fuel and utilities, earning a token 1.5 per 10.
- You carry a balance — 3.99% a month (47.88% APR) will outrun any miles value.

Frequently asked questions
What is the annual fee on the FAB Etihad Guest Infinite card?+
AED 2,625 including VAT (AED 2,500 + VAT). It is charged one month after the card is opened and then annually on the same date. Supplementary cards cost AED 262.50 each.
How many joining miles do I get?+
55,000 Etihad Guest Miles, credited after you activate the card and pay the statement carrying the annual fee. It is a one-time privilege per customer — cancelling and re-applying earns nothing. Supplementary cards add a one-time 5,000 miles.
How many miles do I earn per AED 10?+
3.5 miles on domestic spend and 6 on international spend. Direct online bookings with Etihad Airways or its partners earn double — 7 per AED 10, uncapped. Supermarkets & utilities, fuel & conveyance, and education & government payments earn a reduced 1.5 per AED 10. Overall earning is capped at 55,000 miles a month and rounds down to the nearest mile.
How do I get fast-tracked to Etihad Guest Gold?+
Either complete one return Etihad flight booked with this card within 6 months of first activation, or collect 50,000 Tier Miles within one year. The upgrade is confirmed within 45 days by email. You earn 2.5 Tier Miles per AED 10 on all spend — doubled to 5 during your first 90 days — capped at 50,000 Tier Miles per calendar year.
What lounge access does the card include?+
Free worldwide airport lounge access. FAB does not publish the access program, lounge count, visit allowance or guest policy on the card page — confirm before you rely on it.
How does the 75% Miles Discount Voucher work?+
Spend AED 200,000 on the card within a card year (including balance transfers) and Etihad Guest emails you a voucher that cuts 75% off the miles needed for up to two return award tickets, any class and destination. One voucher per year, valid six months, and not usable for July, August or December flights.
What is the Miles Accelerator Programme?+
An optional booster costing AED 250 a month (minimum two months) that lifts your earn rate to 7.5 miles per AED 10 on all spend — the 'up to 7.5' rate FAB advertises. The 55,000-mile monthly cap still applies and no extra Tier Miles are earned.
What is the minimum salary requirement?+
AED 30,000 per month.
