Rewards rate
The cheapest Islamic route into Marriott Bonvoy status: Silver Elite, 10 night credits, lounge access and 35,000 points a year for AED 499. Use it for Marriott stays and travel — its 1.5x local earn won't make everyday spending rewarding.
Earning and redeeming Marriott Bonvoy points
Points go straight into your Marriott Bonvoy account: 3 per USD 1 (≈ AED 3.67) charged directly at participating Marriott hotels, 2 per USD 1 (≈ AED 3.67) on international spend (just 1 in the European Economic Area), 1.5 per USD 1 (≈ AED 3.67) in the UAE, and only 0.25 per USD 1 (≈ AED 3.67) at supermarkets, petrol stations, utilities, schools, government services, real estate agents, public transport, Salik and charities.
Yajool values Bonvoy points at roughly AED 0.008 each, so the 50,000-point welcome bonus is worth about AED 400 and the 35,000 anniversary points about AED 280 — more if you redeem for peak-priced nights. Redeem at 9,100+ hotels across 30+ brands or convert to miles with 40+ airline partners; points don't expire while your account has activity at least every 24 months.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Marriott Bonvoy® ADIB Visa Signature Card Sharia-compliant?+
Yes. It is an ADIB covered card — a Sharia-compliant structure based on a commodity Murabaha contract, supervised by ADIB's Internal Shari'a Supervisory Committee. It cannot be used for non-Sharia-compliant purchases such as alcohol or gambling.
What is the annual fee?+
AED 499 a year plus 5% VAT, per ADIB's Key Facts Statement and Schedule of Charges. The first four supplementary cards are free until further notice; AED 499 applies from the fifth. No first-year waiver is advertised.
How many Marriott Bonvoy points does the card earn?+
Per US$1 (or equivalent): 3 points charged directly at participating Marriott hotels and Marriott-branded stores, 2 points on international spend outside the European Economic Area (1 point inside it), 1.5 points on UAE spend, and 0.25 points at 'Specific Merchants' — supermarkets, government services, utilities, education, petrol stations, real estate agents, public transport, Salik and charities.
How do I get the 50,000-point welcome bonus?+
ADIB's terms describe it as a one-time 50,000-point offer for the principal cardholder, with no spend threshold published. Points post within about 8 weeks, and the card account must be open and not delinquent. It isn't available to supplementary cardholders, if you cancel and re-apply, or if you downgrade from the Infinite.
What Marriott Bonvoy status do I get?+
Silver Elite from card-account opening (10% bonus points on stays, priority late checkout, free Wi-Fi), plus 10 Elite Night Credits every year. Spend US$15,000 in a card-account year and you're upgraded to Gold Elite (25% bonus points, enhanced upgrades, 2PM late checkout).

35,000 Marriott Bonvoy points every card anniversary, starting with the first, as long as the card account is active and not delinquent. There is no annual Free Night Award on this card.
Does the card include airport lounge access?+
ADIB's card comparison document lists unlimited lounge access for the cardholder to over 1,000 airport lounges, plus Valtrans valet parking twice a month and two airport transfers a year. The product page doesn't detail these perks, so confirm the access method with ADIB.
What is the minimum salary required?+
ADIB does not publish a card-specific minimum salary for this card. Its Key Facts Statement sets a minimum monthly income of AED 5,000 for covered cards in general; the bank assesses eligibility case by case — confirm directly with ADIB.
