The TouchPoints Infinite earns its keep through perks, not points. Unlimited lounge access with a guest, free golf and the ⃃ 1,200 Expedia voucher comfortably outweigh the ⃃ 1,050 fee — but only if you use them. The rewards rate alone, at roughly 0.75% back, wouldn't justify the card.

Earning and redeeming TouchPoints

The card earns up to 1.5 TouchPoints per ⃃ 1 on most retail spend, plus a recurring 15,000 bonus TouchPoints in any month you spend ⃃ 15,000. Watch the reduced categories though: supermarkets, fast food, insurance and auto dealers earn 0.4 per ⃃, while fuel, education, government services, real estate, telecom, charity and transport earn just 0.2 — and UK/Europe purchases also drop to 0.4.

TouchPoints are worth about ⃃ 0.005 each (200,000 points ≈ ⃃ 1,000). You can redeem instantly at thousands of UAE merchants, pay utility bills and Salik, pay your card balance, or exchange for Emirates Skywards Miles. Points stay valid for 3 years from the month they're earned.

Pros and cons

Pros
Cons
  • Unlimited airport lounge access with a guest, for supplementary cardholders too
  • ⃃ 1,200 Expedia 2-night stay voucher effectively offsets the first-year fee
  • Free golf at two premium courses (with ⃃ 5,000 monthly spend)
  • Rich everyday discounts: VOX buy-1-get-1, Caribou, 20% Talabat, 15% Noon
  • Solid travel insurance and Visa Infinite concierge included
  • ⃃ 1,050 annual fee is never waived
  • TouchPoints value is modest — roughly 0.75% back on general spend
  • Supermarkets, fuel, education and other common categories earn only 0.2–0.4 points per ⃃
  • 2.99% foreign-currency fee (plus ~1.15% network processing) is high for a premium card
  • ⃃ 30,000 minimum salary limits eligibility

Is it right for you?

Get this card if

  • You earn ⃃ 30,000+ and want lounge access with a guest on every trip
  • You'll actually use the golf, VOX, Caribou, Talabat and Noon perks monthly
  • You'll pay the fee anyway — the ⃃ 1,200 Expedia voucher offsets it in year one

Consider skipping it if

  • You want pure rewards value — ~0.75% back doesn't justify ⃃ 1,050 a year
  • Most of your spend is supermarkets, fuel or education (0.2–0.4 points per ⃃)
  • You spend a lot abroad — the ~4% total FX cost eats the rewards
